Grameena Vikasa Prathishtan Samsthe, Hiremannapur

Grameena Vikasa Prathishtan Samsthe, Hiremannapur is a registered voluntary organization working in the tribal region of koppal district, Karnataka state in the filed of rural development for more than 10 years. It has provided necessary training motivation and skills to them for particularly analyzing their problems and coming up with suitable plan of action for their development.

Awareness program on yoga day

We conducted an awareness program about the importance of Yoga on behalf of yoga day. And we explained the advantages of yoga, pranayam to school children. They were made aware of the benefits of practicing Yogasanas to make life stress-free, disease-free, and productive.

Capacity and leadership building workshop

We organized capacity and leadership-building workshops of 50 self-help groups. Our resource person Ms. Girija Keri shared inputs regarding essential activities of SHG like organizing meetings schedule, agendas, norms, records, etc. Different team building and games were organized to impart leadership capacity among participants.

Tree Plantation Campaign

We initiated a tree plantation campaign in the Kushtagi block of Koppal(D). A total of 1600 trees are planted on farmers' wastelands. So far 40 farmers have changed their lives by planting a tree on wastelands.
